Rising Damp Operative

Job Summary

We are seeking a rising damp technician or a team to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation work for rising damp and waterproofing treatments. Responsibilities include applying suitable protection to work areas, removing defective render or plaster back to brick, bagging debris for disposal, and injecting a new chemical damp proof course. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience, a valid driving license, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Protect the working area
• Remove defective render or plaster
• Bag and dispose of debris
• Drill and inject new damp proof course (DPC)
• Conduct timber treatments
• Install pacifier vents

Requirements

• Experience in rising damp and waterproofing within the industry
• Knowledge of damp proofing techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Full UK driving license
• Willingness to work in Central and Greater London
